Hello Friends, this security setting displays a text message during user logon. Means to say, after putting credentials when user press enter key button, a message appears in front of user prior to login into computer/server.
So, to configure this, go to below path and give inputs as per your management or IT Infra Head.
Text Message During User Logon
First of all, create a GPO and edit it by right clicking on it.
OR Freshers can follow link How To Open and Configure Group Policy. Thereafter go to the below path.
Computer Configuration –-> Policies –> Windows Settings –-> Security Settings –> Local Policies –> Security Options
After reaching above path, on right side search the policy setting “Interactive Logon: Message text for users attempting to log on”. Double click on it and select the check box “Define this policy setting in the template”. Type the message whatever you want to show to your domain users before entering into workstation or server.
Then click on OK button and come out of the policy.
Once this Group Policy is applied then whenever user try to login into that machine, a message will appear before login into workstation or server.
