Hello Friends, Every GPO has its own guid and you can check it when go to the details of group policy. Similarly, it is quite possible to get group policy name from guid as well. Group Policy very important to control your Domain users and computers. If you are working as an IT Administrator in Domain Environment and responsible to take care of Group Policy. So after applying GPO if you run “gpupdate /force” command on users’ workstations and if it shows User or Computer Policy couldn’t updated successfully with an error message which contains GPO GUID. Then as a troubleshooter you need to troubleshoot this problem and need to identify which Group Policy is creating problem. Actually, this is the GUID (Group Policy) because of which this error message is coming.
There is one line command to get Group Poilcy name from GUID. Simply run this command and get the required outcome that is Group Policy Name.

Get-GPO -Guid “Value” -Domain “Value”
Get-GPO -Guid “Group_Policy_GUID” -Domain “Domian_Name”
