Hello Friends, There are different-2 methods to log into Windows 10 machine. Like, you can use password, picture password, PIN, fingerprint scan or face recognition to log into Windows 10. This post shows the steps how to set a pin to log in windows 10 PC. After setting it up user can use any option (Password or PIN) to log into Windows 10 workstation. So here we start and learn how to do it.
How To Set A Pin To Log In Windows 10
First of all, go to start icon and click on “Settings” button.
After clicking on “settings” button below screen will appear.
Now click on “Accounts” which will give you below screen.
Here go to “Sign-in options” and new screen will come as shown below.
Go to section “PIN” and click on “Add” button. Now below screen will appear.
Here, give user account password which will bring you on below screen.
Here, finally give 4 digit PIN which will be used to log into machine. And after giving PIN click on “OK” button.
Now you will see section “PIN” like below one.
That’s all done from your side. Now log off and ask user to login.
Below the credential option you can see “Sign-in options”. Click on this where you get two options whether use password or PIN to log into computer.
Here select PIN option and give the PIN number what you entered during setting it up. And you will log in.
