Hello Friends, whenever we make any change in Windows machine, at the same time an entry associated with that change reflects in the registry accordingly . Now it doesn’t matter whether this change is getting done locally or with the help of Group Policy. Prevent access to windows registry makes computer more safe from novice persons. So this GPO setting disables windows registry so that no any under training guy can look into this.
If you enable this policy setting and the user tries to start or access Regedit.exe, a message appears on the screen which will be explaining that a policy setting prevents the action.
And in case of disable this policy setting or do not configure it, users can run Regedit.exe normally.
